I've been searching for my father, he was a pilot during WW2. He was Canadian but I believe he flew with the Americans and RAF. He was stationed somewhere near Hitchin Herts in 1945. We think his name was James Nicholson (Captain) and he came from Winnipeg Canada. We spent alot of time together when I was very small before he went back to Canada in 1946

My father's name is Earl Frederick Brodrecht, and served in the Canadian Forces Overseas during WWII. While in England, in letters of correspondence, he fondly mentions a young nurse whom he met in late July, 1943. In another letter he mentions maybe getting married and bringing her home with him. But unfortunately he was wounded in Sicilly in the autumn of 1943 and spend some time in hospital, until the spring of 1944. Then he came home, with no more mention of her. Through the years we have come to know that he has a son by her, but we have no names to go by, except my father's. Hopefully, there is someone out there who can give us some information. My Father is now deceased, but I would really like to connect with my brother.

My father served in the RCAF in England sometime from 1945-1947. His name was Thaddeus (Thad) LePas. He was originally from Nanaimo, BC Canada. He told me that when he was stationed in England he met a 'fair English Lass' he fathered a son due to this union. The son would have been born somewhere close to that timeframe ('46-47). So he would be approx. 60-ish yrs old now, if he still lives.

If you have any information in this regard about this child or my father, please email me... you have a sister and two brothers who would LOVE to find you! You are our 'older' sibling! I was born in 1957 - I was told you would be approx. 10 years my senior.

I'm not sure where else to look, but am trying to find any information at all, I do not have any names other than my father's to offer.

My father passed away Jan 1988, losing his battle with lung cancer. Hopefully I will be able to obtain records now that he's been gone for 20 years, that give me more information on exactly where he was

Looking for Robert Milton Decker or possibly Milton Robert Decker. Suggested from Pennsylvania. NARA site came up with 6 but lead to nothing. Suspect therefore that the name is wrong so search is probably a forlorn task.In UK in Aug 945, I am the proof.
