Liberation Branch 005 The Netherlands.
On 24th of August 2003 the Dutch Royal Canadian Legion Branch; Liberation Branch 005 was founded in Apeldoorn. The city of Apeldoorn was chosen as home of the Branch because of its link with Canada. During the liberation 1945 the headquarters of the Canadian army was established at the Royal Palace Het Loo.
